The Spotlight is on YOU!
Yes, YOU can be in the Spotlight if there is anything you have done in your life that you are proud of. You will be amazed at all the accomplishments that you have achieved if you just took the time out of your busy schedule and began looking back over your life to see how you have made an impact in your life, and in the lives of others.
In this Blog, I will share my life journey of starting my very own Beauty and Esteem Pageant. A Pageant like none other. I am delighted to share this with you.
It All Started in 2001
Twenty years ago, I was inspired by my daughter’s success in pageantry to offer other young girls and women the same great opportunity that was offered to my daughter as she stood on a stage of more than 289 girls and competed for the state title of Miss Junior Queen. Since then, I have been organizing and presenting image building workshops throughout my state to enhance the beauty and potential to girls and young women ages 8 through 24. My, how thing have changed!
Miss Sparkle Success is an image and etiquette pageant system originated to build the character, image and self esteem in young girls’ and women. The goal is to instill positive values, attitudes and relationship building between students, parents, teacher and peers. I assist young girls and women in problem-solving techniques, by teaching them how to face issues, and seek a positive resolution. It is my goal to educate girls in these areas of weakness such as building confidence, peer relationships, public speaking, walking and dressing for success. The goal is not to focus on competing with other peers, but that every girl strive to do their best.
This is a great opportunity for girls to show her inner beauty, talents and success in front of a live audience. If she exhibits the personality and behaviors that other girls may model, she will be considered for the title Miss Sparkle Success State Queen. If chosen as Queen, she will be awarded a Crown, Queen Sash, beautiful Roses and the Queen Titleholder for one year. This will open up many doors of opportunity for her.
As a State Titleholder. The Queen title allows her to step into the spotlight on DAY ONE! Queens take on the role of leadership in her school, community, city and state. The awarded Queen must have a passion to make a difference in the lives of other young girls and women by encouraging them to focus on their positive attributes and be the best that they can be.
Each year, girls may compete in the annual Miss Sparkle Success Pageant Showcase by registering online at www.misssparklepageant.com., and taking as many enhancement SUCCESS classes as she wish. Girls may also rev up their talent skills, and compete in our Talent/Fashion and Modeling Showcase.
It is important to build better relationships between parents, teachers and students. I encourage this through teaching young girls to face issues head on and expect a positive outcome.
My techniques include areas of etiquette teaching and practices, personal development, pageantry preparedness, positive self-talk, confidence, peer relationships and social skills.
